Perfect Care

Perfect Care is a goal, a Mission Outcome of St. Joseph Health System that is measured by the quality of the healthcare we provide to our patients.  As partof our Mission we bring people together to provide compassionate care, promote health improvement and create healthiest communities.

Perfect Care is about striving toward Perfection. It means that we do everything we can, with every one of our patients to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. It means delivering the right care, at the right time, to the right patient; not over-treating or under-treating the patient. Perfect Care is striving to consistently provide reliable care. It requires all of us working together as a team. It requires us to design better systems, implement best known processes, and institute safe-guards, so even if we do make a mistake, the error does not reach our patient. Perfect Care means staying abreast of the latest clinical breakthroughs in innovation and technology and striving for continuous improvement and advancement. The support of our physicians, and clinical and non-clinical staff, play a valuable role in helping deliver Perfect Care, because Perfect Care encompasses the entire patient experience, from registration, to patient care, to nutrition/dietary, to billing, materials management and EVS… all the way through to discharge.

A movie has been prepared by St. Joseph Health System’s Clinical Excellence Department to help you further understand this Mission Outcome and to encourage further discussion.
